I spent the first two decades of my life in Minnesota, and that is where my love for weather began. Even as a kid, I was always watching storms on TV, tracking radar, and trying to understand why the weather changes the way it does. That curiosity stuck with me, and eventually it turned into a career.

In 2014, I moved to Mobile, Alabama, to attend the University of South Alabama and pursue my dream of becoming a meteorologist. I started my on-air career in 2017 at KNOE 8 News in Monroe, Louisiana. While I was there, I covered a little bit of everything, including flooding, deep freezes, and severe storms. One of the biggest events I covered was the April 2018 tornado outbreak, when more than 20 tornadoes touched down across the region.

In July 2018, I moved to Panama City, Florida, to continue my career at WMBB-TV. Just two months later, Hurricane Michael made landfall in Mexico Beach as a Category 5 storm with 160 mph winds. Covering a storm of that magnitude firsthand was a humbling and life-changing experience. It shaped me in ways I will always carry.

In 2019, I stepped away from broadcasting to focus on starting a family and building a new season of life. In 2024, I shifted into digital marketing at Southern View Media, where I worked as a copywriter and account manager. I managed content creation, social media messaging, and brand voice for a variety of clients, and I loved being able to combine creativity with strategy.

In June 2025, I returned to television news and stepped back into the role that first inspired me. Today, I am a broadcast meteorologist at WXXV-TV in Gulfport, Mississippi, where I forecast for the Gulf Coast.

At the heart of everything I do is one goal: helping people feel informed, prepared, and confident when it comes to weather, so they can spend more time enjoying life outdoors.
